Job Description
Principal Mission
As Public Relations Officer, you play a crucial role in liaising with local UAE government entities to ensure the company is continuously compliant with government regulations. Your commitment to excellence extends to ensuring the understanding, correct implementation, and adherence to all rules, regulations and procedures. You are responsible for maintaining the company records processed and updated at all times
Responsibilities
- Handle all processes related to immigration, labor, cancellations and other regulatory requirements
- Type, manage & track all applications related to employment, visit Visa, mission visa, trade licenses, work permits, cancellations, etc
- Ensure timely renewal of company licenses, visas, and permits, and follow-up on official approvals to prevent unnecessary violations
- Schedule employees’ medicals and help them with the process
- Ensure Emirati employees are registered with the Pension Authorities
- Maintain confidentiality and update the company's database for traceability and internal control
- Capture and communicate updates to ensure alignment with government regulations
- Manage and handle petty cash/corporate cards and submit bills promptly and accurately
- Ensure all company activities are compliant with UAE laws and regulations
- Represent the company with government authorities, courts, police stations, ministries & municipalities, when necessary
Qualifications
- Spoken and written Arabic & English languages are a must
- MS Office proficiency is mandatory
- At least 3 years of experience as a PRO, working with UAE Immigration, Labor authorities & the department of Economy & Tourism
- Deep knowledge of relevant UAE laws and regulations
- Ability to work in ambiguous environment and perform under pressure
- High organizational skills
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
- Valid driving license
